WWBC would like to thank Life Member John Humphries and the other members of the old farts club for putting a cracking fundraiser last night. Special thanks to Laurie Treadwell for managing the betting station, Stewart Cassell for manning the bar, Ray Baker and Mark Chircop for Treasury, and to Rednut (aka Glenn Hardy) for his fabulous racehorse introductions and auction skills. We raised around $2k with a syndicate of owners (Daniel and Bec Chircop, Chris Jackson & Nick Gray) taking away the $600 main prize. Lastly thank you to everyone that came it was a lot of fun so stay tuned we’ll be definitely doing it again next year.
