Congratulations to our Junior cohort on a great season and a fabulous Junior Presentation night. Special thanks to all of our coaches, scorers, and team managers, Kim Hanrahan for Friday night canteen, our junior sub committee, Junior Coordinator Sarah Le Fevre, and Jo Tyers, Michelle Coote, and Sarah Bergin.
WBC's junior program, despite the pandemic, is robust and well run. Our families can take lots of credit for that! They participate and are in it for the fun.
Congratulations to Jett Popinski for being awarded WBC’s Junior Club Person of the Year and so receiving the Ned Baker Memorial Award, presented by President Michelle Sadler, and Life Member Ray Baker. Jett was a popular choice after showing immense growth in his maturity both on and off the field in the last two years and his willingness to step in and assist others whenever he sees a need. Congratulations Jet!
